We took advantage of the 70 degree weather to rake leaves and play in them one afternoon. Believe it or not, Abby and Aaron were both pretty good at raking and actually enjoyed it. Good for me! Of course, they had more fun jumping in them and sliding into them.
Saturday we went to Boyd's Orchard in Versailles. Abby and Aaron had a ball on the big slide and climbing on the hay. We couldn't have asked for a prettier day. 
Last week was Abby and Aaron's fall break. We decided to go to Lexington and spend a few days visiting family and doing some fun things. Our first night we stayed in hotel and swam a couple of times. We went to Jacobson park to play and feed the ducks. We went bowling, which was something Aaron had been asking to do for a long time. We stayed the second night with Granddaddy and Gracie and the kids had a blast playing ping-pong, corn hole and darts and just running around in their yard. It was great to spend some time with them. And, of course, a late night trip to Krispy Kreme was inevitable.
Abby and Aaron had fun with their friends, Josh and Jeromy, painting pumpkins and just playing around downtown during Octoberfest in Grayson.
I found these pictures from our bible school this summer and they were too cute not to post. 
We had a Hannah Montana birthday party in our backyard for Abby's 8th birthday. We had a yard full of kids! We had great weather and Abby had lots of fun. 
She finally got an easy bake oven that she has been wanting for about 3 years. She's having a blast getting to make cookies and cakes all by herself.
Today was Aaron's first day of preschool. He was so excited about going to school and he did great! He did much better than his Mommy did!
He walked right into his class and put his backpack in his cubby. Then he found his seat and started coloring. He hugged me good-bye and I left, unwillingly. The only tears were mine! My little boy is growing up.
