Aaron's first day of preschool

Today was Aaron's first day of preschool. He was so excited about going to school and he did great! He did much better than his Mommy did!

He walked right into his class and put his backpack in his cubby. Then he found his seat and started coloring. He hugged me good-bye and I left, unwillingly. The only tears were mine! My little boy is growing up.

Abby's first day of 3rd grade

Aldersgate Camp

A few weeks ago we went to Aldersgate Camp, a very special place to our family. Brad was the dean for a middle school camp and Abby, Aaron and Mommy went with him and played all week! We had a blast! I think Abby and Aaron liked the barn and all the animals the best. They both got to ride a horse and feed some of the animals. We swam every day and went to campfires at night. 3 of their cousins were also there and they had so much fun spending time with them. Danielle was on staff, Kayla was a camper and Andrew was a counselor.

Abby and Aaron had lots of fun playing in the creek. Of course, Aaron loved throwing rocks in and getting everyone wet.

We went to the craft hut every day and made something. Abby found some neat things to make like God's eyes and bracelets. Aaron was determined to make a Power Ranger helmet and sunglasses. He really tested Mom's creativeness. But he was pleased with the finished products.
